Letters
The increase in digital = increase in importance of written word
My son, Tate, turned two years old yesterday. Our lives have changed so much the past two years, but it seemed to go by so fast…
My wife, Andrea, mentioned that she wanted to start a tradition for birthdays once Tate went to bed. At 8pm, we sat down and we both wrote him a letter. We will do this every year moving forward and share it with Tate when he’s older.
Although the idea to write him an annual letter never crossed my mind, I can only imagine how much it will mean to Tate someday. I have a core belief that as our world becomes more and more digital, the act of writing a letter therefore becomes more meaningful.
If you know someone that would enjoy reading each Monday & Friday, please feel free to share! If not, that’s okay too.
