Building Trust or Eroding Trust

Calling to cancel should be illegal

Yesterday, I had to cancel a home warranty on a rental we are selling. I called American Home Shield and the process went as follows:• Only way to cancel is to call• Put on hold for 10 minutes• Transferred twiceAs a company, you're either building trust or eroding it. In the scenario above, all my trust was eroded. When thinking about trust, the following companies came to mind:• People pay more for Cotopaxi because they create incredible products and are transparent (S/O Davis Smith).• I will forever take my vehicle to Best-One of Indy because they are honest about what I don't need.• I will always carry a Bellroy wallet because they build responsible products that last and have a 3-year warranty.

Trust is at the core of everything we do at Neighbor Serve. My favorite part about trust is that it’s built on authenticity, which is nearly impossible to fake.
